“One of the architect’s principle responsibilities is the creation and protection of the public realm. This course examines the critical relationship between classical architecture and traditional urbanism. The principles of traditional urbanism will be presented and the social, environmental, and economic reasons for returning to a more traditional planning methodology with be explored.”
