Sculpting, Pattern Making, and Casting Workshop
Paula Graves successfully led us through 3 sessions that resulted in each participant creating an architectural detail of their own. Architectural ornamentation is Paula’s forte as she has been mastering this art for the past 30 years. Through this course participants learned how to lay-out, model, mold and cast an architectural detail. They also gained an understanding of the entire process and came away with their own unique detail. Each of these steps were taught in three different sessions over three days on August 22nd to the 24th, 2013.
Paula Graves majored in art at BYU with her emphasis in sculpture. She has put her keen eye for design, composition and dimension to good use for 20 plus years at Historical Arts and Castings sculpting architectural ornamentation for clients and projects across America.
