A man with a beard and curly hair, wearing a brown blazer over a light shirt, stands outdoors in front of a building with a blue window and greenery.

Join us for an inspiring hands-on workshop exploring the timeless beauty of proportion and the Classical Orders, led by esteemed craftsman and designer Domiane Forte. He will teach the enduring principles of ancient Roman and Greek architecture. Classical proportion represent more than just column and arches, they embody a harmony of geometry, proportion, and symbolism that continues to shape our built environment.

Participants will learn to draw the classical moldings and enrichments with precision and care, gaining insight into their divine origins and practical application in architectural design. Through step-by-step instruction, Domiane will reveal the rules of composition that have guided master builders from antiquity through the Renaissance, and still inform classicists today.

Domiane Forte brings a deep reverence for classical tradition to his work. Trained under the legendary craftsman Robert Brandt at the University of Notre Dame, he has built a career around merging timeless design with modern needs. Whether designing classical homes or handcrafting bespoke furniture to match their interiors, his work reflects a meticulous eye and a love for beauty.

This workshop is ideal for architects, designers, students, and anyone interested in the classical tradition. All skill levels are welcome.
